The tale of Kaveh pt.2- Fereydoon
Part two of my graduation Project done at New3dge concept art. This is Fereydoon. the rightful, destined prince who unites with Kaveh to defeat Zahaak. unlike Kaveh, Fereydoon relies on agility, trickery, and of course his bird to deal with difficult scenarios.

Story time: Kaveh and Fereydoon, two of the beloved figures of the Dezh-Hukht city, have lost their loved ones to the tyranny of Zahaak the usurper-who has man-eating snakes growing from his shoulders. Fed up by this tragedy, the heroes of the story start a rebellion to overthrow the mad king and liberate the land and its people.

A big part of the design process on the crossbow was dedicated to figuring out how it actually works.
The idea for the weapon started taking form when I was playing with a mechanism to shoot magic bolts-not even in fantasy setting.
